Ski & Snowboard Rental Agreement
By booking a ski or snowboard rental from Escape Plan Board Shack, you agree to the terms below. You'll also sign the full rental agreement when you pick up your gear at 3420 Carling Ave.
Important terms
- Normal wear and tear is expected and will not result in additional charges.
- The customer is responsible for excessive damage, negligence, abuse, loss, theft, or failure to return equipment.
- Equipment remains the property of Escape Plan Board Shack.
- Lost, stolen, or unreturned equipment will be charged according to the replacement cost schedule below.
- Late returns may be charged $10 per day until equipment is returned.
- Skiing and snowboarding involve inherent risks including serious injury or death. The renter assumes all risks associated with use of the equipment.
- For renters under 18 years of age, a parent or legal guardian must sign this agreement.
Replacement cost schedule
- Snowboard: up to $250
- Skis: up to $250
- Bindings: up to $150
- Boots: up to $150
- Helmet: up to $75
- Poles (pair): up to $40
Actual replacement charges may vary according to the age, condition, and remaining value of the equipment.
